On Thursday evening the 19th March around eighty inquisitive members of the architectural design industry including landscape designers, architects, city designers, interior designers, academics and lighting designers gathered at the Australian Institute of Architects at Potts Point to hear what turned out to be a most beguiling presentation by The London School Of Economics Dr Don Slater and Mona Sloane.
Their presentation ‘Urban Lightscapes / Social Nightscapes’ is a part of an extensive research program involving London’s Whitecross Estate focusing on the huge beneficial differences lighting can make to standards of living when intelligently engaged. iGuzzini, the evenings sponsor played an instrumental role in this research. -
